Foreign Trade Agent (Country/State) – SYRO FINANCE
Syro Finance, as export/import managers, coordinates international operations for clients who ship and receive goods across multiple markets. To ensure true Point-to-Point service, we are opening the opportunity to join our own network of licensed customs brokers.
Role & Scope
The Foreign Trade Agent will manage end-to-end all customs procedures and filings for Syro Finance clients in their country or state. This includes, as applicable: tariff classification, licenses and permits, document verification/endorsement, inspections, appraisals, payment of duties and taxes, clearance, in-country transit, and final delivery coordinated with our logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
Represent Syro Finance clients before the local customs authority.
Prepare, review, and submit complete, error-free documentation.
Ensure regulatory compliance (customs, foreign trade, sanctions, export controls).
Coordinate with bonded warehouses, carriers, and insurers.
Provide real-time status updates for each operation and escalate issues when needed.
Safeguard documentary evidence and traceability (PoA, B/L/AWB, invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).
Minimum Requirements
Active registration as a customs broker in your jurisdiction.
Proven experience in import and export (SMEs and/or corporate).
Ability to operate under trade agreements, special regimes, and sensitive licenses.
Fast response time and availability to meet demanding SLAs.
Performance Indicators (SLAs)
Average clearance time by regime.
Document incident rate (≤ x%).
Milestone completion and reporting in the Syro portal.
(Targets are defined during onboarding.)
Exclusivity Opportunity
Syro Finance may grant territorial exclusivity (country/state or region) to the selected candidate after an initial evaluation period and meeting minimum SLA/volume thresholds. Exclusivity is reviewed annually and may be expanded based on performance.

If selected, a USD 70 fee will be charged for the issuance of the Annual Syro Finance License as Customs Broker in the designated jurisdiction(s). (Payable only upon approval.)
